On Thursday 5 March, we invite Charles Karangwa, Global Head of Nature-based Solutions Centre at IUCN and Kitty Tam, Programme Lead at the Civic Exchange, to speak at our in-person roundtable “Advancing Nature-Positive Tourism and Conservation Finance in Hong Kong”.
This Think Tank aims to bring together leaders from tourism, hospitality, conservation, finance and government to explore how ecotourism can be developed as a high-integrity, nature-positive model in Hong Kong.
Nature-based Solutions (Nbs) are increasingly seen as solutions that offer pathways to reconcile urban development and ecological integrity to create long-term resilience for dense metropolitan areas such as Hong Kong. This Think Tank comes at an important time with the inclusion of NbS as a key target in Hong Kong’s recently updated Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (BSAP).
This Think Tank is hosted in collaboration between the Civic Exchange, GREEN Hospitality, Marriott Hotels Group, and The Nature Conservancy (TNC). Don’t miss your chance to engage with other industry stakeholders and sustainability experts.
