STUDENT INTERNSHIPS

Dedicated to cultivating young, talented, and responsible leaders, our internship programme at GREEN Hospitality is meticulously designed to foster self-development. We provide a diverse array of learning opportunities across various fields, tailored to individual interests. Through hands-on experience and collaborative projects, interns will hone essential communication, teamwork, and social networking skills, building confidence and preparing them to excel in the evolving landscape of the professional world. As a partner company with the HKU Impact Lab, we are committed to providing a high-impact learning experience.

Impact Lab is a 6-credit experiential learning course from The University of Hong Kong Business School, that connects students with social ventures. We embrace the Impact Lab's emphasis on practical application and skill development, ensuring our interns gain valuable real-world experience.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN:

Real-world experience: Manage projects, solve problems, and gain hands-on business experience in the field of sustainable hospitality. This includes opportunities to do research, participate in client meetings, plan, market and attend events and so much more.
Skill Enhancement: Strengthen your soft skills, practically implement academic concepts, and significantly improve your competitiveness in the job market.
Professional Development: Develop essential communication, teamwork, and social networking skills, building confidence and preparing you to thrive in the future workplace.
Networking: Connect with excellent students, supervisors, and workers from different countries.

PROGRAMME STUCTURE:

Commitment: Interns are expected to commit at least 160 hours over 8-12 weeks. The total duration depends on the hours worked per week (approximately 10 hours/week during regular semesters, and approximately 20 hours/week during summer semesters).
Learning: Benefit from orientation sessions, mandatory seminars and optional talks focused on maximising your internship experience.
Flexibility: Depending on the project, work may be conducted remotely or on-site with flexible working hours (determined in consultation with your supervisor). Weekly in-person meetings will be scheduled, with some virtual participation options when needed.
