As the Executive Director of GREEN Hospitality, I am thrilled to announce that we have been granted Section 88 tax-exempt charitable status in Hong Kong. This is a significant milestone for us, as it will enable us to expand our reach and make an even greater positive impact on the environment and local communities.
With this new status, we can receive tax-deductible donations from individuals and corporations, allowing us to invest more resources into our programs and initiatives. This means we can make even greater contributions in promoting and implementing sustainable tourism and hospitality practices.
We see many opportunities to make a positive impact with this new status. For example, we are planning to expand and improve our education and outreach programs, working with local schools and universities to inspire the next generation of environmentally-conscious travelers. We want to also develop new and deepen existing partnerships with hotels and others along the supply chain, providing them with the tools and resources they need to adopt sustainable practices and reduce their carbon footprint.
